Q uinta de Amares covers around 50 hectares and is located in the municipality of Amares, the heart of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, in the small village of St. André de Rendufe, a region with deep-rooted, historical and religious traditions. Neighbouring the Rendufe Monastery, the estate is south facing, sunny and enjoys a unique climate.

QUINTA D'AMARES wines created and produced on our estate according to the highest standards of excellence and modernity, steeped in the history of the Monastery of Rendufe (eleventh century) and the Aqueduct (seventeenth century), the special heritage of Quinta de Amares and indissociable from the image of the wines.
Many times award winners, these white wines are produced exclusively from grapes selected from the three varieties Castas Alvarinho, Loureiro, Arinto and Trajadura. They will no doubt surprise you and win you over with their very own characteristics: clear lemon colour, pale and fresh, fruity, balanced nose, and soft, slightly dry flavour.
T he QUINTA D'AMARES winery is equipped with the most modern technology and is perfectly adapted to production needs. Grapes are transported quickly to the winery to guarantee the high quality of the grapes.
All materials that come into contact with the wine such as presses, fermenting and ageing vats are made in stainless steel to guarantee that the fermenting process takes place according to the highest quality standards.
Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 13 and 15º C, pressing is light so that the process can take place as naturally as possible, which results in a must that is highly aromatic and wines that are mild and delicate in flavour.
